We haven't installed it yet, but we've done some testing (and even blew the lid off of one). 4 teaspoons of baking soda pulled too many amps, but 2 teaspoons seems to pull about 4 amps per electrolyzer. We're installing a 4pack on a Ford F-250 Gasoline engine this weekend, and if all goes well we will install on my 2006 Dodge Diesel. We will be posting the installation and results. If you haven't done so already, get the water4gas books. We're using this as a learning tool to expand on.

Why is Water4Gas charging so much money upfront for the manual itself?
Reply : Jonathan - CA (10th Jul 2008) Its because they (Water4Gas) are the only company which is putting so much efforts in refining the installation procedures and update it constantly in their manual so that you do not have much of research work involved. Just use any combination of cells and it is pretty well laid out in the manual. I am really happy with their technical support for my queries, the reply from Water4Gas was promt and effective. Although I have gained only about 20% but the important thing is it is getting better by the day.

Is it better to go for plate electrodes or wire electrodes?
Reply : Mendis - TX (18th Aug 2008) Well ideally plate electrodes are the best for the purpose as they last long long time, I had a bad experience with wire electrode as it blew away in less than 3 hours of drive. Now I am using plate electrodes for last 3 months without a problem.
